THE AMBASSADOR OF JAPAN TO PAKISTAN VISITED PAKISTAN PAVILION AT WORLD EXPO 2025 OSAKA

H.E. Mr. Shuichi Akamatsu, the Ambassador of Japan to Pakistan, along with his spouse visited the Pakistan Pavilion at Expo 2025 Osaka today. The Ambassador expressed deep appreciation for the Pavilion’s creative concept, immersive atmosphere, and meaningful cultural representation.

During his visit, the Ambassador took particular interest in the historical mural, which narrates the story of the Salt Range, from its formation 800 million years ago to the ancient civilizations of Harappa and Mohenjo-Daro, the legend of Alexander the Great’s horses discovering salt, and the Mughal era. He praised the mural’s depth and its ability to connect geological and cultural history in a compelling way.

The Ambassador also spent time in the Healing Garden, a quiet, meditative space designed for reflection. He thoroughly enjoyed the peaceful setting, taking a moment to sit, inhale deeply, and appreciate the sense of calm it offered.

The Ambassador and his spouse also visited the Display Area, where they admired a wide array of traditional handicrafts, blue pottery, and cultural artifacts. He also appreciated the breathtaking film on the Khewra Salt Range, noting how the visuals added emotional richness to the Pavilion’s central theme.

PAKISTAN PAVILION SHINES AT OPENING OF WORLD EXPO 2025 OSAKA, JAPAN

April 13, 2025, Osaka: The World Expo 2025 officially opened its doors to the public today in Osaka, Japan, marking the beginning of a six-month global event running from April 13 to October 13, 2025.
