Osaka, Japan – August 25, 2025:
The Chief Minister of Punjab, Hon. Maryam Nawaz Sharif, visited Expo 2025 Osaka on August 23, where she was received by Mr. Ichinoki Manatsu, Deputy Secretary General of the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition. Mr. Manatsu briefed the Chief Minister on the Expo’s central theme, “Designing Future Society for Our Lives,” which she lauded as a timely and meaningful vision for advancing global cooperation. He also informed the Chief Minister about the popularity of the Pakistan Pavilion among visitors.
Her visit commenced with a tour of the Pakistan Pavilion. She appreciated the concept and design of the Pavilion under the theme “Universe in a Grain of Salt” and remarked that the Pakistan Pavilion “stands out” among all the pavilions of Commons-D. She also admired the artifacts exhibited in the Display Space. Following her tour of the Pakistan Pavilion, she also visited other pavilions and appreciated the Japan Association for the 2025 World Exposition for organizing a remarkable event in Osaka
