at Expo 2025 Osaka
Shaping the Future
Pakistan will participate in Expo 2025 Osaka from April 13 to October 13, 2025, alongside 161 countries and 25 international organizations. This global event offers an opportunity to showcase Pakistan’s innovation, culture, and economic potential, building on the tremendous success of its Pavilion at Expo 2020 Dubai, which attracted over 1 million visitors and earned widespread acclaim for its vibrant display of culture and opportunities.
The Pakistan Pavilion will tell a story of resilience, harmony, and interconnectedness, represented through the symbolic grain of salt. Visitors will be invited to explore Pakistan’s natural beauty and ponder the unity underlying human diversity. This vision aligns with Expo 2025’s overarching goal of fostering a society that values life in all its forms.
Pakistan will present its potential in trade, investment, IT, tourism, and culture through curated activities that celebrate its cultural richness. Using cutting-edge technologies, the Pavilion will offer immersive virtual tours of Pakistan’s landscapes, including the majestic Himalayas, serene deserts, and vibrant cities. Augmented reality showcases will allow visitors to engage with heritage sites, traditional music, and art, bringing Pakistan’s vibrant culture to life.
On Pakistan’s National Day on August 14, 2025, the Pavilion will host a grand celebration featuring national anthems, leadership messages, cultural performances, and a spectacular musical concert that highlights Pakistan’s artistic spirit.
Through its participation in Expo 2025, Pakistan aspires to position itself as a nation of promise and innovation, connecting with universal themes of unity, resilience, and progress. The Pavilion invites every visitor to discover the story encapsulated in a grain of salt—a story of connection that transcends time, borders, and cultures.
